Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Demetrio Poletti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabrizio Castelli succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cavoretto AFC's Claudio Pellegrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Goffredo in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Certenoli's Enrico Vida got control of the ball when Demetrio Poletti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fabrizio Castelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavoretto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Castelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Vida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Frank Sabatini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavoretto AFC and the Certenoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Frank Sabatini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Lepori kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cavoretto AFC's Enrico Pennetta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Certenoli. If Fabrizio Castelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Certenoli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cavoretto AFC:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ennio Goffredo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ennio Pantani lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Claudio Pellegrini. Ennio Goffredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Pellegrini having to interfere. Ennio Pantani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes Certenoli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrico Pennetta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cavoretto AFC's Enrico Pennetta to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrico Vida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 70 played minutes Certenoli got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Scannella. Enrico Vida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Poletti in the 79th minute of play. Demetrio Poletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Demetrio Poletti notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Certenoli's Enrico Vida. Enrico Vida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ennio Goffredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudio Pellegrini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
