Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eraldo Di Iulio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Balsignano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Andreozzi came free, but Fausto Sorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Banne's goalkeeper Arturo Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesare Cappucci. Arturo Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Di Iulio in the 8th minute of the match. Fausto Sorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Andreozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Bruno Spagnuolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balsignano AFC and the Banne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Balsignano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Spagnuolo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Banne's Bruno Ingegno got a free kick in the 16th minute. Arturo Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Di Iulio in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Eraldo Di Iulio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsignano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Di Iulio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Flavio Liberti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Cappucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Cappucci ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Di Iulio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Alessandro Nicolai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Sorge having to interfere. Bruno Ingegno kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Banne's Arturo Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Banne from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Edmondo Colantonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Cappucci in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Balsignano AFC's Diego Piccone got a free kick in the 47th minute. Alvise Andreozzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Nicolai to make the kick off. Balsignano AFC's Eraldo Di Iulio got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Banne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Di Claudio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvise Andreozzi got free with Fausto Sorge in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alvise Andreozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Motta having to interfere. If Cesare Cappucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Balsignano AFC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domenico Baur, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Banne's Arturo Motta. 1-0. Arturo Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Di Iulio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cesare Cappucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Arturo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Andreozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Sorge having to interfere. When Comunardo Piccini came up free with the goalie in the 102nd minute, the Banne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Piccini couldn't finish the play. Balsignano AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
