The referee ignored Quercioli FC's protests and gave Enrico Baciadonne a yellow card for diving instead. Enrico Baciadonne hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quercioli FC! Fortunato Lampa went to the wrong direction when Adriano Galdi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dino Romagnoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Scalabrino in the 93rd minute. Fortunato Lampa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Bergamini, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Case Nuovo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quercioli FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
