Carmine Nicolai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Simonetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ferruccio Lizzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Marra having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Orgnano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Simonetti came free, but Carmine Nicolai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Simonetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ferruccio Lizzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orgnano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Lizzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Marra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Simonetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caslino Al Piano FC's Domenico Marra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Lizzi in the 46th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Domenico Marra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Lizzi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Simonetti in the 54th minute of play forced Orgnano AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Nicolai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Orgnano AFC's Frank Ferraresi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Marra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caslino Al Piano FC's Domenico Marra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Apicella in the 61st minute of play. Domenico Marra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Apicella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aurelio Cesaroni fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caslino Al Piano FC's protests and gave Aurelio Cesaroni a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caslino Al Piano FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aurelio Cesaroni hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
