Filippo Nola started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Filippo Nola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Trotta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Nola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Trotta having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercole Bolli got free with Concetto Navarra in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ercole Bollis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Concetto Navarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Domenghini in the 21st minute of play forced Castel Maggiore FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Trotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Trivella FC's Concetto Navarra got control of the ball when Ercole Bolli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercole Bolli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Navarra having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eugenio Michelini made the kick off in the second half. Armando Sciamanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Filippo Nola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trivella FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Nola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Trotta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Domenghini in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Eugenio Michelini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Concetto Navarra. Trivella FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Michelini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fabiano Tatangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Navarra having to interfere. In the 85th minute Ercole Bolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Navarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Nola in the 90th minute of play forced Castel Maggiore FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Trotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Concetto Navarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
