If Ercole Bolli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute of the match Castel Maggiore FC got a corner. Epitaffio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amos Furino ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The wind increased when Daniele Cristofari made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Fabio Coletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Trotta came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Epitaffio FC's Daniele Cristofari. But to his dismay, Daniele Cristofari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eugenio Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dave De Vecchis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emanuele Ceresoli. Epitaffio FC's Dave De Vecchis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Epitaffio FC from getting a goal against them.
