A very good chance for a goal. Dario Caracciolo had several of the Carpenedo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Flavio Della Francesca as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Amedeo Albanesi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Della Francesca. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Amedeo Albanesi might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Della Francesca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amedeo Albanesi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Amedeo Albanesi made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Della Francesca. Carpenedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Flavio Della Francesca stood somewhat misplaced when Amedeo Albanesi came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carpenedo's zone, Dario Caracciolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Della Francesca came out of the goal and Dario Caracciolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Amedeo Albanesi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pernate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Albanesi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dario Caracciolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pernate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Caracciolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Della Francesca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carpenedo's Flavio Della Francesca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Caracciolo in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Dario Caracciolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Della Francesca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pernate AFC's Davide Pezzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Rossi in the 46th minute of play. Dario Caracciolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Flavio Della Francesca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Rossi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Dario Caracciolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Della Francesca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Carpenedo booed when Pernate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Foni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pernate AFC's Davide Pezzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Pernate AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Amedeo Albanesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Pezzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Della Francesca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Albanesi in the 92nd minute of the match. When Edoardo Cesarini fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pernate AFC's protests and gave Edoardo Cesarini a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pernate AFC's Edoardo Cesarini got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Antonello Rigoni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Davide Pezzi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Rossi in the 97th minute of play forced Pernate AFC's goalkeeper Davide Pezzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpenedo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro Furino in the 99th minute. The corner ended in Alvaro Furino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pernate AFC's Davide Pezzi did a great save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pernate AFC fully deserved thier win.
