Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Attilio Guaita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto Maurizio the free kick. The supporters of Porto Maurizio booed when Meda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Guaita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Florian Di Biagio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Zangari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Meda FC's Aldo Zangari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Mazzini in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Fabio Giampietro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aldo Zangari. Ernesto Sciotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Meda FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Enrico Natale hit a great ball. Aldo Zangari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Mazzini in the 24th minute of the match. When Fabio Giampietro came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Porto Maurizio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Giampietro couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fabio Giampietro sped through Meda FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Zangari. Attilio Guaita got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dino Padula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Porto Maurizio booed when Meda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Padula didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Fabrizio Mazzini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porto Maurizio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Di Camillo made a kick off. Christian Di Camillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Zangari made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fabio Giampietro sent off a good shot on target. Christian Di Camillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrizio Mazzini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Zangari having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Mazzini in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Zangari saved Meda FC from getting behind. Meda FC's Aldo Zangari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Mazzini in the 72nd minute of play. Fabio Giampietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Zangari having to interfere. Meda FC's Aldo Zangari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Mazzini in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Achille Trivelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciccio Briano skillfully saved the ball. Carlo De Michele hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Christian Di Camillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Di Camillo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ciccio Briano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meda FC. Ciccio Briano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Di Camillo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Porto Maurizio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
