Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfonso Galli got the match started through his kick off. Domenico Migliorati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pilastro's Claudio Cagnetta got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Aurelio Damiani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sasso Marconi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilastro the free kick. After 8 played minutes Sasso Marconi got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Damiani. Comunardo Caccavale, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Claudio Cagnetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Aurelio Imperatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Imperatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cagnetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Galli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aurelio Imperatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Cagnetta in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Imperatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domenico Migliorati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Minotti in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Fortunato Minotti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Alfonso Galli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sasso Marconi's Aurelio Imperatore. Aurelio Imperatore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfonso Galli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aurelio Imperatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sasso Marconi's Aurelio Imperatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Galli in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Davide Spitaleri made the kick off in the second half. Claudio Cagnetta struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aurelio Imperatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilastro. 55 minutes into the match, Pilastro's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Minotti came free, but Domenico Migliorati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pilastro's Claudio Cagnetta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Pilastro booed when Sasso Marconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Antonelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Alfonso Galli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Imperatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Sasso Marconi's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Galli came free, but Aurelio Imperatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfonso Galli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Cagnetta got free with Aurelio Imperatore in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Claudio Cagnetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Spitaleri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Davide Spitaleri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilastro's Domenico Migliorati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pilastro played a much better game than Sasso Marconi and deserved their victory. The Sasso Marconi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
