Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frank Scannella started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Carter Balboni charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Balboni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rivarolo's Carter Balboni got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Banni got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Manfredi. Armando Addarios short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Cristoforo Citrullo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frank Scannella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Mauro having to interfere. Domenico Berardini kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Rivarolo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Addario. 18 minutes into the match, Rivarolo's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Lepre came free, but Alfredo Mauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Carter Balboni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristoforo Citrullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Addario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Damiano Gambini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Gambini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cristoforo Citrullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Citrullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Addario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Scannella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Balboni got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st minute, Carter Balboni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Frank Scannella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfredo Mauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damiano Gambini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Carmine Volta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banni's protests and gave Carmine Volta a yellow card for diving instead. Carmine Volta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Frank Scannella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Lepre might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Mauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Lepre ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Masci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banni's Cristoforo Citrullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Gambini in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Rivarolo's goalkeeper Alfredo Mauro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonello Di Salvatore. Ercole Taddeo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Concetto Manfredi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Mauro. Rivarolo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elia Lepre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Addario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cristoforo Citrullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Rivarolo got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Rosa. In the 80th minute, Frank Scannella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Rivarolo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Addario. After recieving a nice pass, Banni's Concetto Manfredi tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elia Lepre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alfredo Mauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Damiano Gambini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Citrullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
