Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amedeo Caracciolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Felicetti in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Maurízio's Eugenio Pace got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Emanuele Felicetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Maurízio's Amedeo Caracciolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Felicetti in the 16th minute of play. With his leg Alessio Tamburrini managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when San Maurízio's Elia Chizzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amedeo Caracciolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Violento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Violento in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo Caracciolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Aurelio Violento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Caracciolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castelfranco FC's Alessio Tamburrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Improta in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Castelfranco FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Grilli. After 39 played minutes Castelfranco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Muciaccia. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuele Felicetti to strike the kick off in the second half. Amedeo Caracciolo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Aurelio Violento sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Cosimo Improta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuele Felicetti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amedeo Caracciolo came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuele Felicetti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 65th minute. In the 70th match minute, San Maurízio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Marra to maneuver through the defense. Castelfranco FC's Ettore Muciaccia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Maurízio. Cristiano Migliorati was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Alexander Colle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Caracciolo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Cosimo Improta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elia Chizzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes, Augusto Pagliarini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Maurízio and the Castelfranco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th minute, Aurelio Violento made a precise shot to the right of Amedeo Caracciolo. San Maurízio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Castelfranco FC played a much better game than San Maurízio and deserved their victory. The San Maurízio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
