Pernate's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fausto Micarelli 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Biagio Bevilacqua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Mameli having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match Ercole Fantozzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Raimondi skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Pernate's Ernesto Raimondi got control of the ball when Arturo Federici tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Donato Tatangelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Leonardo AFC's Alfonso Mameli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Micarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Raimondi having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Federici got free with Ernesto Raimondi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Micarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pernate's Donato Tatangelo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beppe Andreassi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes San Leonardo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Giorda. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Leonardo AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Mameli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Beppe Andreassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Bevilacqua got free with Alfonso Mameli in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fausto Micarelli sped through Pernate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Raimondi. In the 79th minute Arturo Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Raimondi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fausto Micarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Bevilacqua took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Mameli. Alfonso Mameli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Donato Tatangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Mameli having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Pernate's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Federici came free, but Ernesto Raimondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
