The supporters of Gallignano FC booed when Casale Sul Sile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Pallotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Treglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Rocchi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Frank Rocchi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Treglia. Casale Sul Sile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Rocchi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dario Gava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Pallotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Antonio Guerini made a huge save. If Dario Gava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fulvio Pallotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casale Sul Sile's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulvio Pallotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Guerini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Emanuele Tomasso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gallignano FC's Antonio Guerini didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eraldo Quadrini made a kick off. Ciccio Treglia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Gava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Pallotta in the 55th minute of play forced Gallignano FC's goalkeeper Antonio Guerini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio De Felice's late challenge caught a Casale Sul Sile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio De Felice helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gallignano FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eugenio De Felice hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Gallignano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Quadrini came free, but Antonio Guerini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Rocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ciccio Treglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Guerini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Quadrini in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Angelo Polmone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Casale Sul Sile's Ferruccio Fantasia got a free kick in the 74th minute. Frank Rocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Treglia having to interfere. Gallignano FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
