Ciccio Mozzoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armin Piccini in the 4th minute. Emilio Cannavacciuolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bassanello AFC booed when Caselline AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Piccini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Mozzoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cannavacciuolo in the 31st minute of the match. If Emilio Cannavacciuolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Giacomozzi in the 40th minute of play forced Caselline AFC's goalkeeper Alberigo Del Giudice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Caselline AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Campana. 45 minutes into the match, Bassanello AFC's goalkeeper Ciccio Mozzoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Piccini. After a defensive mix-up in Bassanello AFC's zone, Armin Piccini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Mozzoni came out of the goal and Armin Piccini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Cicchetti made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Attilio Cicchetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caselline AFC's Alberigo Del Giudice was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Cosimo Serafini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberigo Del Giudice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Cicchetti in the 56th minute of the match. When Arturo Giacomozzi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bassanello AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Giacomozzi couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, one of Bassanello AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bassanello AFC. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Caselline AFC. Arturo Trombetta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciccio Mozzoni. 2-0. Attilio Cicchetti struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alberigo Del Giudice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bassanello AFC. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Attilio Cicchetti took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Alberigo Del Giudice to make any attempt to save it. Ermanno Scarpone hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Attilio Cicchetti struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alberigo Del Giudice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bassanello AFC. Arturo Giacomozzis short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Alberigo Del Giudice to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Arturo Giacomozzi could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Alberigo Del Giudice however easily saved by the left post. Arturo Giacomozzi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Alberigo Del Giudice 92 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Amos Bergamini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Piccini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Mozzoni having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
