Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Ettore Talone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vighizollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Talone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Pezzella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ballerini in the 8th minute of play. Ettore Talone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Pezzella having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Talone got free with Eugenio Pezzella in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Dave Sabatino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Achille Nicolini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edoardo Petricca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Enzo Galeone hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vighizollo's zone, Achille Nicolini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Petricca came out of the goal and Achille Nicolini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Maccarone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edoardo Petricca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Edoardo Petricca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Maccarone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Bernardo Ballerini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Pezzella was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Maccarone to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vighizollo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alexander Pompilio hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Vighizollo's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Maccarone came free, but Edoardo Petricca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Ettore Talone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Pezzella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vighizollo's goalkeeper Edoardo Petricca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Maccarone in the 67th minute of play forced Vighizollo's goalkeeper Edoardo Petricca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Maccarone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edoardo Petricca having to make a save. If Bernardo Ballerini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Talone in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Pezzella saved Ducentola from getting behind. Achille Nicolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Petricca having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Ettore Talone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Pezzella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Maccarone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Nicolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
