Amedeo Maranzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Onori in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Riva Verde FC's Flavio Ianni got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Enzo Bulla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrico Castellazzi. Villa Opicina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Bulla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Enrico Castellazzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Bulla in the 37th minute of play. Alvise Onori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Amedeo Maranzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Amedeo Maranzano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Cosi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Enrico Castellazzi was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Enzo Bulla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enzo Bulla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Anthony Gasparis short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Enrico Castellazzi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Anthony Gaspari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
