Druento AFC's Anfilogino Spitaleri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Druento AFC from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Castellanza's Felice Palma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anfilogino Spitaleri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Druento AFC booed when Castellanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Palmucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Ronca in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camillo Causio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ernesto Pasquale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Druento AFC's Aldo Di Meo got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Concetto Di Fonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Druento AFC's zone, Diego Mazzone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Spitaleri came out of the goal and Diego Mazzone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Anfilogino Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Di Fonzo in the 53rd minute of play. Aldo Di Meo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Concetto Di Fonzo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Druento AFC's Anfilogino Spitaleri. Anfilogino Spitaleri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anfilogino Spitaleri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Di Fonzo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Castellanza's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Pasquale came free, but Camillo Causio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Causio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Pasquale in the 68th minute of play. Ernesto Pasquale charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Pasquale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Diego Mazzone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Castellanza booed when Druento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Di Dio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Ronca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Camillo Causio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Ronca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Druento AFC's Anfilogino Spitaleri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Di Fonzo in the 90th minute of play. If Concetto Di Fonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Druento AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castellanza.
