Christian Gigli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fabio Pavlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Vighignolo's Fulvio Avesani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Pavlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Christian Gigli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Pavlu was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Fulvio Del Bello struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cristiano Rosati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ginestreto. Vighignolo's Fulvio Avesani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Armando Orlandi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Rosati skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Vighignolo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ginestreto:s goal. Fabio Pavlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Avesani in the 37th minute of play. Edoardo Carta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Fulvio Del Bello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Rosati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 43 played minutes, Vighignolo's Andrea Berardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Pavlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vighignolo reached it. Cristiano Rosati made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fulvio Del Bello sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alvaro Vespucci made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Vighignolo's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Vespucci came free, but Cristiano Rosati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Pavlu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Vighignolo's Christian Gigli. But to his dismay, Christian Gigli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvaro Vespucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cristiano Rosati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Del Bello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Del Bello in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Rosati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Gigli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Donato Di Lello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ginestreto's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Di Lello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Rosati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Ginestreto got a freekick which was hit by Armando Orlandi. Fulvio Avesani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fabio Pavlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Avesani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Pavlu having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Vighignolo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ginestreto.
