Filettole AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Ciccarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ginestreto's Donato Di Lello got a free kick in the 14th minute. The goalkeeper, Fabio Pavlu, was totally fooled by Filettole AFC's Eraldo Di Gaetano, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 28th minute, Fulvio Del Bello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ginestreto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Davide Ciccarelli came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Filettole AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Ciccarelli couldn't finish the play. Fulvio Del Bello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Alvaro Vespucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filettole AFC's Francesco Di Massimo got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Francesco Di Massimo off the ground. In the 94th match minute, Filettole AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Di Massimo to maneuver through the defense. Fulvio Del Bello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Attilio Silvestre made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
