The supporters of Carbonate booed when San Leo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Galeone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Ottavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Borgatello in the 10th minute of play. If Dave Ciscato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave Ciscato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Padula having to interfere. Alvaro Di Giacomo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, San Leo FC's Dave Cavallaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Padula came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Leo FC reached it. Cosimo De Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosimo De Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Carbonate got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo De Rossi. Frank Treglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberigo Borgatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Ottavi having to interfere. In the 27th minute, one of San Leo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Leo FC. Donato Ottavi had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Edoardo Maccarone's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edoardo Maccarone scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Ottavi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberigo Borgatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Donato Ottavi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Ottavi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Treglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Dave Ciscato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Leo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Frank Treglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Ottavi having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Treglia made a kick off. When Alberigo Borgatello came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Carbonate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Borgatello couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Alberigo Borgatello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donato Ottavi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Carbonate's Frank Treglia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Ottavi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Pich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Padula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Diego Pich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Flavio Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo Borgatello got free with Donato Ottavi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberigo Borgatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Donato Ottavi made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Frank Treglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carbonate's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Treglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Ottavi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Cavallaro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alberigo Borgatello kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Dave Ciscato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Padula having to interfere. Flavio Padula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Pich, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Donato Ottavi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Treglia in the 93rd minute of the match. If Alberigo Borgatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
