Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Treglia took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Alberigo Borgatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Carbonate getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Frank Treglia hit a great ball. After 15th play minutes Frank Treglia shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Amerigo De Rubeis and just under the crossbar into goal. Carbonate's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fortunato Pellecchia 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Amerigo De Rubeis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Treglia in the 24th minute of the match. When Casine's Fortunato Pellecchia, in the 28th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Casine. Casine's Fabio Crisantemo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match, Fortunato Pellecchia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Padula saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabio Crisantemo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Flavio Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Pellecchia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Padula came out and tried to block the shot, but Fortunato Pellecchia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. Frank Treglia might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amerigo De Rubeis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Treglia ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortunato Pellecchia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Padula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Pellecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Crisantemo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Flavio Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Crisantemo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fortunato Pellecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Alberigo Borgatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Amerigo De Rubeis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Casine fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carbonate a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edoardo Maccarone, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casine's Amerigo De Rubeis. 2-2. Carbonate's Flavio Padula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Pellecchia in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Carbonate defense, Fortunato Pellecchia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Padula. The Carbonate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Padula should have stopped the shot.
