Amedeo Larizza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Pallini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Larizza made a kick off. When Christian Bottega came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Viconovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Bottega couldn't finish the play. Corrado Lucidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bozzelli having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Frassinara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bottega came free, but Federico Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Frassinara FC booed when Viconovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Abete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corrado Lucidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bozzelli having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Frassinara FC's Aurelio Macchia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Bozzelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Viconovo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fulvio Orioli hit a great ball. Viconovo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
