After a rather tough play, Fornaci AFC's Ciccio Di Biagio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Andrea De Vincentis came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Rivera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea De Vincentis couldn't finish the play. Enrico Oddi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Santilli in the 5th minute of play. Federico Caponera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Borgatello in the 13th minute of the match. When Eugenio Borgatello came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Fornaci AFC fans jumped to their feet. In the 17th minute Alexander Moscatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Caponera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Borgatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Caponera having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Andrea De Vincentis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fornaci AFC's Enrico Oddi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrea De Vincentis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Oddi having to interfere. Andrea De Vincentis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Enrico Oddi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Armando Pasin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivera and the Fornaci AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rivera! Federico Caponera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Moscatelli's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Federico Caponera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Borgatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Borgatello in the 43rd minute of play forced Rivera's goalkeeper Federico Caponera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Oddi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Santilli, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Alexander Moscatelli made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Moscatelli came free, but Federico Caponera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Fornaci AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. Fornaci AFC's Eugenio Borgatello got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Moscatelli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Lorefice. The Rivera fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Rivera's Carter Santilli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute Carter Santilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Oddi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rivera's Federico Caponera got control of the ball when Eugenio Borgatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Borgatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Federico Caponera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Frezza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Borgatello got free with Federico Caponera in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrea De Vincentis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Oddi having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Fornaci AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Frezza to maneuver through the defense. The Fornaci AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rivera from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
