The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Cosimo Baur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caslino Al Piano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosimo Baur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Grossi during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Cadine AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Grossi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Eugenio Imperiale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosimo Baur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cadine AFC's Carmine Di Mario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Toto in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Cosimo Baur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Mario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Caslino Al Piano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Mancinelli to maneuver through the defense. Caslino Al Piano's Aurelio Felice proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Caslino Al Piano from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Piacente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Felice having to interfere. Domenico Salomone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Aurelio Felice made a huge save.

Carmine Di Mario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caslino Al Piano. In the 85th minute, Eugenio Di Fazio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Felice was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cosimo Baur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Carmine Di Mario made a huge save. Fedele Toto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
