Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ercole Azzolina took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Alfredo Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Alfredo Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Palmucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Azzolina in the 11th minute of play forced Pero's goalkeeper Diego Palmucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Achille Falcone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Falcone hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pero's zone, Ercole Azzolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Palmucci came out of the goal and Ercole Azzolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes Centocelle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Belardi. 24 minutes into the match, Pero's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Azzolina came free, but Diego Palmucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Centocelle AFC's zone, Alvaro Campitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio La Marca came out of the goal and Alvaro Campitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ercole Azzolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Palmucci. Pero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Azzolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Centocelle AFC's Fabio La Marca got control of the ball when Dennis Venditti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes, Achille Tullio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pero and the Centocelle AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Achille Tullio kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After having played for 50 minutes, Alfredo Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centocelle AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Vieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Campitelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 65 played minutes Centocelle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Guerra. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Alfredo Vieri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Centocelle AFC's Eraldo Signoretti got a free kick in the 84th minute. Fabio La Marca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Campitelli in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Pero's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ercole Azzolina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Signoretti during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Centocelle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Signoretti to maneuver through the defense. Centocelle AFC played a much better game than Pero and deserved their victory. The Pero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
