Cosimo Baur might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Palmucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Baur ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Fedele Toto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Palmucci. Fedele Toto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Campitelli in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Felice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Pero's Dennis Venditti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Felice narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Felice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Venditti in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caslino Al Piano's goalkeeper Aurelio Felice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alvaro Campitelli made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Fedele Toto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caslino Al Piano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Toto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, one of Pero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Pero booed when Caslino Al Piano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Mancinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Campitelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Felice came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Campitelli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Mancinelli during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
