Bernardo Orioli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senna Comasco AFC's Fedele Greco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Soccio in the 26th minute of play. When Amedeo Munno fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senna Comasco AFC's protests and gave Amedeo Munno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Senna Comasco AFC's Amedeo Munno got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 31 minutes of play Senna Comasco AFC's Amedeo Munno was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Borromeo in the 35th minute of play forced Senna Comasco AFC's goalkeeper Fedele Greco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Senna Comasco AFC's zone, Armin Borromeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Greco came out of the goal and Armin Borromeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Senna Comasco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Di Marino. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Lancia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Soccio in the 52nd minute of play forced Senna Comasco AFC's goalkeeper Fedele Greco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Armin Borromeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Greco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Soccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Armin Borromeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Borromeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedele Greco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Borromeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fedele Greco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Soccio in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Edoardo Soccio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bianco Mandara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Greco having to make a save. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bianco Mandara hit a great ball. Senna Comasco AFC's Armando Lancia got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
