Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ennio Di Pietrantonio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vecchiazzano's zone, Amos Scalia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Tarantini came out of the goal and Amos Scalia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Vedano Al Lambro AFC defense, Ennio Di Pietrantonio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Venditti. The Vedano Al Lambro AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Venditti should have stopped the shot. Arturo Crisantemo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Vecchiazzano's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Scalia came free, but Fausto Tarantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arturo Crisantemo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Amos Scalia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vedano Al Lambro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Scalia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Vedano Al Lambro AFC's Fausto Tarantini threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amos Scalia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Vecchiazzano's Donato Causio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Vecchiazzano's goalkeeper Fausto Tarantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Crisantemo. Amos Scalia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Tarantini having to make a save. Vedano Al Lambro AFC's Fausto Venditti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Gaeta in the 42nd minute of play. Fausto Venditti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Gaeta in the 43rd minute of play. Bianco Gava's late challenge caught a Vecchiazzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Gava helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Vedano Al Lambro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Gava to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Gaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Vecchiazzano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amos Scalia made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Gaeta got free with Fausto Venditti in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ennio Di Pietrantonio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vecchiazzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Di Pietrantonio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Vedano Al Lambro AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Daniele Punta hit a great ball. Vedano Al Lambro AFC's Dario Di Falco got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute of the match Elia Zoff shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Tarantini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Augusto Selvi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Tarantini skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Vecchiazzano's Donato Causio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Arturo Crisantemo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Arturo Crisantemo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Tarantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amos Scalia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vecchiazzano's goalkeeper Fausto Tarantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vecchiazzano's Fausto Tarantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Scalia in the 90th minute of play. Arturo Crisantemo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Tarantini having to make a save. In the 98th match minute, Vedano Al Lambro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Di Falco to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Cardano's shot from long distance in the 99th minute was not bad at all, but Vedano Al Lambro AFC's Fausto Venditti knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post.
