Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fulvio Lucidi kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes, Caluri FC's Dario Alati shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domenico Maccarone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caluri FC reached it. Domenico Maccarone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Grossi in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Grossi in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Maccarone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fedele Ragazzoni hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Filippo Grossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Maccarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Antonello Garofalo from a close distance when the talented Dino Zara managed to make a qualified save. Caluri FC's players were relieved. Caluri FC's Dino Zara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Lucidi in the 21st minute of play. Alfredo Nazzari charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Nazzari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Nazzari hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Correggio got a corner. Caluri FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Caiola ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Caluri FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Correggio:s goal. Alberto Caiola placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Correggio booed when Caluri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Luongo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

If Filippo Grossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Zara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Garofalo in the 57th minute of the match. Antonello Garofalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attilio Di Natale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Domenico Maccarone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Di Natale in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domenico Maccarone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68th minute Filippo Grossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Maccarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Zara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Lucidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Zara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Garofalo in the 76th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Fulvio Lucidi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caluri FC's Dino Zara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attilio Di Natale took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Maccarone. Domenico Maccarone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Domenico Maccarone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Grossi in the 85th minute of the match. Fulvio Lucidi scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Zara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Domenico Maccarone managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Caluri FC's Attilio Di Natale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domenico Maccarone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Grossi in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
