The audience was convinced that Emiliano De Vincentis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Di Vito was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Eraldo Cosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Basilico, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Moruri AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alvaro Pietrini hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Emiliano De Vincentis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eugenio Di Vito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eugenio Di Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano De Vincentis in the 20th minute of play. Celle Ligure FC's Eugenio Di Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano De Vincentis in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Moruri AFC got a corner. Celle Ligure FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosimo Bobbio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moruri AFC's Cosimo Bobbio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Di Vito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Armin Tatangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Vito having to interfere. When Moruri AFC's Armin Tatangelo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celle Ligure FC's goalie prevented a goal. Damiano Basilico struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eraldo Cosi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celle Ligure FC. Eugenio Di Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano De Vincentis in the 36th minute of play. Fabio Pari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eraldo Cosi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fulvio Fata fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moruri AFC's protests and gave Fulvio Fata a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Moruri AFC's Fulvio Fata got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute of the match Celle Ligure FC got a corner. Moruri AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristiano Grasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Tatangelo in the 46th minute of play forced Celle Ligure FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Di Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Celle Ligure FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moruri AFC were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Moruri AFC's zone, Damiano Basilico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Cosi came out of the goal and Damiano Basilico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eraldo Cosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Pari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Emiliano De Vincentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Di Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Alexander Iannotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Albanesi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Eraldo Cosi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Pari in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Armin Tatangelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Di Vito. Celle Ligure FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armin Tatangelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Emiliano De Vincentis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano De Vincentis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Vito having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Tatangelo got free with Eugenio Di Vito in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damiano Basilico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eraldo Cosi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damiano Basilico's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Eugenio Di Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano De Vincentis in the 96th minute of play. Alexander Iannotti hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute Emiliano De Vincentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Di Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moruri AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
