An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Bernardi in the 31st minute of play forced Vedano Al Lambro AFC's goalkeeper Concetto Bellomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro De Vito succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Arturo Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Oroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 87th minute, Alfredo Malandra made a precise shot to the right of Concetto Bellomo. Vedano Al Lambro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lizzano AFC's zone, Emanuele Oroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Villa came out of the goal and Emanuele Oroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lizzano AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vedano Al Lambro AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
