Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amos Avesani started the match with the kick off. Piazza AFC's Camillo Circelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Angelini in the 3rd minute of play. Augusto Cannone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emanuele Della Francesca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Emilio Prisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piazza AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavriago the free kick. Emilio Prisco hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Amos Avesani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavriago's Emanuele Della Francesca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amos Avesani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuele Della Francesca having to make a save. After 30 minutes, Florian Restaino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavriago and the Piazza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florian Restaino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, Piazza AFC's Elia Flammini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuele Della Francesca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piazza AFC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Angelini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camillo Circelli. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to Cavriago getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Flavio Angelini hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Cavriago got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Berardinelli. When Amos Avesani came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Piazza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Avesani couldn't finish the play. Camillo Circelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Gismondi in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Angelini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Cannone got free with Emanuele Della Francesca in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camillo Circelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Gismondi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fortunato Gismondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavriago's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Gismondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Circelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Gismondi in the 64th minute of play forced Piazza AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Circelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Cavriago's Fortunato Gismondi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camillo Circelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Angelini scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camillo Circelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Cavriago's Emanuele Della Francesca got control of the ball when Augusto Cannone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrea Cruciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Gismondi during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cavriago's Fortunato Gismondi got a free kick in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Piazza AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cavriago.
