Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabio Lauro took the kick off in the first half of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Alfonso Fioravanti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Federico Cipollini came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Palazzi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Cipollini couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Poggio Varano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Fioravanti came free, but Demetrio Prandini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Fabio Lauro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Federico Lio to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Garibaldi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Fabio Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Palazzi FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camillo Di Giuseppe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bianco Gervasi's late challenge caught a Poggio Varano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Gervasi helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lauro in the 31st minute of play forced Palazzi FC's goalkeeper Federico Lio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Lio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Federico Cipollini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Prandini. Poggio Varano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Cipollini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Fioravanti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Prandini was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Camillo Di Giuseppe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Federico Lio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Fabio Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Poggio Varano AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palazzi FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Fioravanti was the one to do the kick off. Federico Cipollini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Demetrio Prandini firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute, Fabio Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Camillo Di Giuseppe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Lio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fabio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Federico Lio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Prandini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Fioravanti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Poggio Varano AFC's Demetrio Prandini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Poggio Varano AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Camillo Di Giuseppe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Lio came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Poggio Varano AFC's Fabio Lauro. But to his dismay, Fabio Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Camillo Di Giuseppe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Lio having to interfere. Demetrio Prandini didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Poggio Varano AFC's zone, Alfonso Fioravanti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Prandini came out of the goal and Alfonso Fioravanti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demetrio Prandini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Fioravanti, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
