Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eraldo Flocco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernardo Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Giansante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Ettore Orioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Giansante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Valerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Flocco in the 18th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Chiavelli got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Boninsegna. Carmine Giansante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eraldo Flocco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Valerio having to interfere. A collision led to Chiavelli getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alberto Di Prinzio hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Fabio Lusi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chiavelli's Bernardo Valerio didn't even have to move. In the 38th minute, Damiano Di Fonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute of the match, Andrea Carbonetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eraldo Carbonaro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Chiavelli's zone, Eraldo Flocco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Valerio came out of the goal and Eraldo Flocco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Andrea Carbonetti made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Andrea Carbonetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiavelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Carbonetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Carbonaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Damiano Di Fonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Giansante struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Valerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalora. Bernardo Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Flocco in the 82nd minute of play. Chiavelli's Andrea Carbonetti got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrea Carbonetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Carbonetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo Carbonaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea Carbonetti ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
