Damiano Tonon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Flavio Persichetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rossignago's Damiano Tonon got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Persichetti made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Diego Maurizi sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Biagio Meazza was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Biagio Meazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Daniele Guida struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Flavio Persichetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossignago. Piani's Flavio Persichetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Tonon in the 57th minute of play. Damiano Tonon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Tonon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Persichetti having to interfere. Diego Maurizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Persichetti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Ciro Ciapponi was a little too slow when Biagio Meazza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 4-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rossignago fully deserved thier win.
