Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damiano Tonon took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Maurizi in the 3rd minute of play forced Merano's goalkeeper Cristoforo Abbagnale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Egidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ciapponi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Diego Maurizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossignago's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Maurizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Abbagnale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Abbagnale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Maurizi in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merano's Anselmo Sacchetti got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Merano getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anselmo Sacchetti hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Aldo Massaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Abbagnale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristoforo Abbagnale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Maurizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Merano booed when Rossignago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Maurizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano Tonon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Abbagnale having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Merano's Arturo Locatelli got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Damiano Tonon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristoforo Abbagnale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Alvaro Volpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merano and the Rossignago players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rossignago booed when Merano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Volpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Brillante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Ciapponi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Brillante, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Damiano Tonon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes in the game, Amos Brillante fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciro Ciapponi having to interfere. Ciro Ciapponi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amos Brillante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Amos Brillante made the kick off in the second half. Amos Brillante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Abbagnale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Tonon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Adriano Salerni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferruccio Egidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ciro Ciapponi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Brillante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ciapponi having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Anselmo Sacchetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merano and the Rossignago players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Rossignago's Aldo Massaro tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Rossignago's Diego Maurizi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Abbagnale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniele Guida during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniele Guida hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Merano's Ernesto Luciani in action when he in the 78th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 84th minute of the match Angelo Monticelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Ciapponi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Maurizi got free with Cristoforo Abbagnale in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Damiano Tonon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Diego Maurizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossignago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Maurizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Salerni hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Diego Maurizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merano's Cristoforo Abbagnale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Tonon in the 96th minute of play. Rossignago's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
