After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ettore Trevisani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Trevisani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Staniscia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Trevisani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Staniscia having to interfere. Edoardo Fulgenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Latini having to interfere. Felice Latini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Stumpo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Stumpo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bocco's zone, Cesare Colombi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Staniscia came out of the goal and Cesare Colombi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes, Bocco's Camillo Piccone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felice Latini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bocco reached it. A collision led to Cormano AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bruno Colantonio hit a great ball. Emilio Ascoli kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Bocco getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Arrigo Centofanti hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Ettore Trevisani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ettore Trevisani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Staniscia having to interfere. With a little luck, Bocco's Alfredo Staniscia got control of the ball when Ettore Trevisani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Ettore Trevisani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Staniscia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Stumpo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dave Stumpo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felice Latini was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cormano AFC's zone, Dave Stumpo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Latini came out of the goal and Dave Stumpo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bocco's Florian Brandolini got a free kick in the 64th minute. Felice Latini made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Edoardo Fulgenzi sent off a good shot on target. Edoardo Fulgenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoardo Fulgenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felice Latini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Fulgenzi in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormano AFC's goalkeeper Felice Latini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Cormano AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bruno Colantonio hit a great ball. Dave Stumpo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Ettore Trevisani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Staniscia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cormano AFC's Ettore Trevisani got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Ettore Trevisani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Trevisani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Colombi took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Staniscia. Alfredo Staniscia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Ettore Trevisani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bocco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
