Cartabbia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rozzano the free kick. Carlo Placidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Biscotti in the 4th minute of the match. Edmondo Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Guerini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmondo Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmondo Motta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Cartabbia FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Claudio Guerini made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ciro Massaro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cartabbia FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edmondo Motta hit a great ball. Carlo Placidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Biscotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Guerini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ciro Massaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Claudio Guerini made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, Rozzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Checchia to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Massaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Edmondo Motta in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Edmondo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Placidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Manfredi in the 40th minute of play. Rozzano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edmondo Motta 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Amerigo Biscotti made the kick off in the second half. Ciro Massaro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Claudio Guerini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cartabbia FC. The audience was convinced that Edmondo Motta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Guerini was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Edoardo Borrelli hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Edmondo Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Claudio Guerini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play Cartabbia FC's Ferdinando Rulli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 81 played minutes Cartabbia FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Motta. 82 minutes into the match, Cartabbia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Biscotti came free, but Carlo Placidi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Biscotti struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Carlo Placidi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rozzano. Ennio Manfredi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Placidi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ciro Massaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartabbia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Massaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Guerini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Rozzano's Ennio Manfredi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Placidi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Cartabbia FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rozzano to win.
