If Edmondo Simeoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Incirano's Angelo Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sorge in the 10th minute of play. Edmondo Simeoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Angelo Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Frank Sorge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manera's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sorge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Amos Panino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Incirano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manera the free kick. In the 15th minute, Amos Panino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Incirano's zone, Frank Sorge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Rosa came out of the goal and Frank Sorge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, Manera's Edmondo Simeoni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Rosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fulvio Valletta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes Manera's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugenio Porro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Incirano's corner Eugenio Porro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexander Formaggio quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Edmondo Simeoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Incirano's Fabio Astolfi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alberto Giacomozzi fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manera's protests and gave Alberto Giacomozzi a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Giacomozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frank Sorge sped through Incirano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Rosa. Anselmo Basso kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Emiliano Pedroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. When Alexander Muzzatti fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manera's protests and gave Alexander Muzzatti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manera getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alexander Muzzatti hit a great ball. Frank Sorge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angelo Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Rosa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edmondo Simeoni sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Manera's Emanuele Ronconi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuele Ronconi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Manera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuele Ronconi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Incirano. Eugenio Porro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexander Formaggio. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
