A beautiful save bye Consolazione FC's goalie prevented a goal. Amedeo Raffa's late challenge caught a Calvari FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Raffa helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Consolazione FC got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Raffa. If Amedeo Raffa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Giolo in the 10th minute of play forced Calvari FC's goalkeeper Armando Di Sante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Angelo Tozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Bencivenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Anthony Di Ruscio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Bencivenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Giusti in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Consolazione FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Consalvi came free, but Alberto Bencivenni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Consolazione FC booed when Calvari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Consalvi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Giolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Angelo Tozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Bencivenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Consolazione FC's Emiliano Panella got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Angelo Tozzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Delle Donne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bencivenni having to interfere. Fabio Delle Donne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alberto Bencivenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Ritacco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Angelo Tozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Bencivenni came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Calvari FC's Fabio Delle Donne. But to his dismay, Fabio Delle Donne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Tozzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo Tozzi struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alberto Bencivenni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvari FC. Armando Di Sante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Giolo in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Consolazione FC. Anthony Di Ruscio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Di Sante. 1-2. When Angelo Tozzi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Calvari FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Tozzi couldn't finish the play. Cesare Ritacco charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Ritacco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Consolazione FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cesare Ritacco hit a great ball. Angelo Tozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alberto Bencivenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Consolazione FC booed when Calvari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Juliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calvari FC's goalkeeper Armando Di Sante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Alberto Bencivenni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Amedeo Raffa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Calvari FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alberto Picozzi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Amedeo Raffa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consolazione FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Raffa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Di Sante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Fabio Delle Donne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Raffa in the 95th minute of play forced Calvari FC's goalkeeper Armando Di Sante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Giolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armando Di Sante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Consalvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Calvari FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
