Alberigo Gigli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Donato Scutti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alberigo Gigli made a huge save. Augusto Atroce was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Buffalora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dario Di Florio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dolcedo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Buffalora had controlled the match.
