Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmondo Testi started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Barbaricina FC booed when San Giuliano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Rocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Conforti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Landolfi having to interfere. Fulvio Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Landolfi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barbaricina FC's zone, Filippo Vitale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Brandini came out of the goal and Filippo Vitale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmondo Testi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eugenio Brandini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Landolfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Conforti in the 17th minute of the match. Fulvio Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Landolfi having to interfere. Eugenio Brandini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Salvagnin in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Barbaricina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Spinosa to maneuver through the defense. Frank Landolfi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Barbaricina FC's Fulvio Scirea. But to his dismay, Fulvio Scirea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eugenio Brandini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmondo Testi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 48th minute, Edoardo Salvagnin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Conforti was the one to do the kick off. Barbaricina FC's Eugenio Brandini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Testi in the 55th minute of play. Edoardo Salvagnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Brandini having to interfere. Frank Landolfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Conforti in the 63rd minute of the match. San Giuliano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Conforti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
