Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Borgolombardo's Enrico Pelati started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Carter Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borgolombardo and the Fabio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Borgolombardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Lopez to maneuver through the defense. If Enzo Albertini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Borgolombardo fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Borgolombardo's Eugenio Filice looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enrico Pelati was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Borgolombardo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alvaro Madaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Pelati's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Cesare Placidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alfonso Balzani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Madaio came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Borgolombardo's Eugenio Filice. But to his dismay, Eugenio Filice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Borgolombardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Rallo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Cesare Placidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Balzani was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Alfonso Balzani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio De Lellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bianco Malvezzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Madaio having to interfere. Alvaro Madaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Pelati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Gori charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Biagio Gori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Fabio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Gori. Eugenio Filice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes of play, Fabio AFC's Eugenio De Lellis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Balzani was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesare Placidi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Biagio Gori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio AFC's Cesare Placidi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Balzani. That made the score 2-2 after 62 minutes of play. Alvaro Madaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Filice went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Alfonso Balzani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Placidi in the 69th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Eugenio Filice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Fabio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Pelati came free, but Alvaro Madaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Eugenio De Lellis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfonso Balzani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Placidi in the 90th minute of the match. Enrico Pelati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Eugenio Filice managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgolombardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Filice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Madaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fabio AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alvise Romanese hit a great ball. Borgolombardo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fabio AFC for a fine match.
