With a little luck, Besanigo AFC's Biagio Pascali got control of the ball when Beppe Cagnetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Ermanno Montanari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borzoli's Carter Giusti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Di Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Biagio Pascali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Emilio Di Toro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borzoli's Carter Giusti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Montanari in the 16th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Borzoli got a freekick which was hit by Amos Flocco. Besanigo AFC's Ermanno Montanari got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Emilio Di Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Pascali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Pascali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Di Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Bearzot during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Borzoli booed when Besanigo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Bearzot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario De Cesaris shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but Biagio Pascali was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 28 minutes, Ermanno Montanari made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Borzoli's Carter Giusti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes, Emilio Di Toro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borzoli and the Besanigo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Di Toro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Fedele Flocco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Besanigo AFC and the Borzoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Pascali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilio Di Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Biagio Pascali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Cagnetta in the 65th minute of play forced Besanigo AFC's goalkeeper Biagio Pascali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Borzoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Beppe Cagnetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Pascali having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Beppe Cagnetta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Biagio Pascali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermanno Montanari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. When Emilio Tundo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borzoli's protests and gave Emilio Tundo a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Tundo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Emanuele Milani was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. The Borzoli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Besanigo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Besanigo AFC.
