Dennis Mannella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Russo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Mannella got free with Anthony Parco in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Fecchio's Ettore Di Croce got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Latina got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Cavanna. If Aldo Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Mannella got free with Anthony Parco in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Fasciani hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The Fecchio fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Fecchio's Attilio De Leonardis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Latina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fecchio.
