After having played for 4 minutes, Ernesto Celli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Posta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Celli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dave Di Cintio fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milano Marittima FC's protests and gave Dave Di Cintio a yellow card for diving instead. Dave Di Cintio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Andrea Fiorentino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Celli in the 7th minute of play. Alberigo Scalia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Augusto Fabiani made a huge save. Florian Caracciolo's late challenge caught a Milano Marittima FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Caracciolo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Posta FC's Florian Caracciolo got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Milano Marittima FC's Andrea Di Claudio tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amedeo Pagliarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Andrea Fiorentino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Fabiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Scalia in the 20th minute. After 20 played minutes Posta FC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Caretti. Alberigo Scalia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Augusto Fabiani made a huge save. Augusto Fabiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Giorgio in the 26th minute of the match. If Ernesto Celli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Pagliarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Fiorentino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Celli, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Alberigo Scalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Augusto Fabiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Imperiale during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Posta FC booed when Milano Marittima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Imperiale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Milano Marittima FC's Alberigo Scalia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Aldo Giorgio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Aldo Giorgio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Posta FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dennis Caretti hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Fausto Musso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Posta FC and the Milano Marittima FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Aldo Giorgio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fedele Imperiale hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Amedeo Pagliarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
