The supporters of Pioltello booed when Stezzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Calcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio Ferri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corrado Di Mattia in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Andrea Falasca took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fulvio Ferri to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th match minute, Stezzano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Falasca to maneuver through the defense. Ermanno Caroli kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fabrizio Di Giandomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fulvio Ferri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pioltello's Fulvio Ferri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pioltello from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes, Alvise Marziali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pioltello and the Stezzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pioltello's Alvise Marziali got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Falasca made a kick off. In the 56th minute Stezzano FC were awarded a corner. Emanuele Landolfi went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Stezzano FC's corner Emanuele Landolfi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fulvio Ferri quite easily take care of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Corrado Di Mattia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulvio Ferri. Pioltello's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corrado Di Mattia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 63 minutes into the match, Stezzano FC's Corrado Di Mattia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Ferri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 minutes, Aurelio Fortunato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pioltello and the Stezzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, one of Pioltello:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pioltello. Emanuele Landolfi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Stezzano FC's Edoardo Scrima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Stezzano FC from getting a goal against them. Corrado Di Mattia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrea Falasca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Ferri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Falasca in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Stezzano FC booed when Pioltello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Pesce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Pioltello got a freekick which was hit by Diego Mannucci. In the 86th minute, Corrado Di Mattia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Corrado Di Mattia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Ferri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 102 minutes into the match, Stezzano FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Scrima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carter De Sanctis. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stezzano FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pioltello had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
