Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pioltello's Alvise Marziali started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chioggia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Achille Caligaris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Ferri. Pioltello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fulvio Ferri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Bevilacqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Anthony Manna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Ferri having to interfere. When Federico Volta fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pioltello's protests and gave Federico Volta a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of Pioltello:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Augusto Domenghini placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Filippo Adriano came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pioltello's Carter De Sanctis. But to his dismay, Carter De Sanctis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Diego Mannucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Bevilacqua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulvio Ferri having to make a save. Ercole Candeloro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Anthony Manna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fulvio Ferri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Manna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Ferri having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Alvise Marziali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pioltello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Marziali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Bevilacqua to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Ferri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Bevilacqua in the 53rd minute of the match. Pioltello's Fulvio Ferri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Bevilacqua in the 56th minute of play. Aurelio Berti's late challenge caught a Chioggia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Berti helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Berti hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Bevilacqua in the 58th minute of play forced Pioltello's goalkeeper Fulvio Ferri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Carter De Sanctis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pioltello's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter De Sanctis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Adriano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alvise Marziali came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pioltello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Marziali couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Marziali in the 63rd minute of play forced Chioggia's goalkeeper Filippo Adriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alvise Marziali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pioltello's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvise Marziali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Adriano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Chioggia's goal looked a bit too open when Carter De Sanctis came free, but Filippo Adriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 78 in the game by Anthony Manna from a close distance when the talented Fulvio Ferri managed to make a qualified save. Pioltello's players were relieved. The supporters of Chioggia booed when Pioltello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Iannotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Domenghini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Ferri. Pioltello were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chioggia for a fine match.
