Fulvio Marzoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Campitelli having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pero! The referee gave Codrea a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Parco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pero's Anfilogino Campitelli. 0-1. When Ferdinando Biondi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Codrea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Biondi couldn't finish the play. When Angelo Mariotti fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codrea's protests and gave Angelo Mariotti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Codrea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Mariotti to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Campitelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Mariotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The Pero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Codrea were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Volponi was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pero's Filippo Volponi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Codrea getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alberto Piacente hit a great ball. Antonello Filippini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Avesani in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pero's goalkeeper Anfilogino Campitelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filippo Volponi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Filippini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Fulvio Marzoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Anfilogino Campitelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Crisantemo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fulvio Marzoli in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Codrea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
