The referee ignored Basaldella's protests and gave Filippo Scannella a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Di Natale was a little too slow when Carlo Vago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eraldo Mammarella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gassino Torinese AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Mammarella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Di Natale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Fortunato Grossi made the kick off in the second half. Eraldo Mammarella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Canzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Grossi in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Gassino Torinese AFC's Eraldo Mammarella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Di Natale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Gassino Torinese AFC booed when Basaldella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Molinario didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Vago couldn't finish the play. Arrigo Barbanti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ciccio Canzano made a huge save. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gassino Torinese AFC's goalkeeper Ciccio Canzano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gassino Torinese AFC had played much better football throughout.
